“Aloha Rising”
The Fauna Collection
What can we learn from the animal kingdom?
Every living creature has something to teach you, about relating to your surroundings and using your gifts wisely.
Animal spirits can help you call upon your strengths, illuminate your instincts, and remember your natural ability to learn, evolve, and flourish.
May these totemic paintings remind you of your power, untamed and sovereign.
Felines
“Feline energy is perceptive and poised — a warrior-like balance between softness and strength.”
~Celine Cardineau
FELINE TRINITY
Oil on 24” x 24” Canvas, 2024
With geometric precision and poetic color-storytelling, this powerful piece explores the trinity of solar energy (the lion), lunar energy (the panther) and gaian energy (the tiger). Through this alchemical synergy, all matter and myth manifest.
CHOSEN
Oil on 24”x24” Canvas, 2024
Painted in a rich neutral palette, a winged white lion, descended from a glacial peak, steps through an ornate portal to meet your gaze with a message.
This piece anchors the spiritual wisdom that we are all the “chosen one” of our own story. That your spirit chose this incarnation, and yet, you still must continue to remember your calling and choose the path you came to walk.
Birds
CYGNUS
Metallic acrylic and oil on canvas, 2025
The black swan rises from the shadows like a Dark Goddess or Black Madonna. Sensual black orchids and deathly shadows contrast bridal anemone blossoms and white-feathered cygnets. This visual poem of light and dark dance across a silver background, veiled by a violet night, where the Cygnus constellation is visible.
The calligraphed words are plucked from Hans Christian Anderson's parable "The Ugly Duckling," about a young swan raised by ducks, whose primal longing to be beautiful and belong, is finally fulfilled when he grows up to resemble his true kin.
In this mythic painting, beauty and belonging transcend the duality of light and dark, reclaiming and restoring that which was exiled to the shadows, and enriching new life with wisdom.
Bird’s Nest series
“The bird’s nest reminds us that home is something woven into being…
an outer creative expression of one’s inner sense of belonging.”
~Celine Cardineau
“I learn a great deal by observing pollinators—
The Winged Ones and the Grounded Ones…
They remind me to take pleasure in purposeful work.”
