How to Order a Custom Artwork
Step 1. Choose Your Size and Materials
This is important because all my original paintings are priced by area (height x width).
Acrylic Painting on Canvas ~ $2 / square inch
Acrylic Painting on Quality Paper ~ $1.50 / square inch
While every piece is different, works on paper (that can be rolled) are easier to ship, frame, and store. Works on canvas are more durable, can hold thicker layers of paint, and can hang without a frame.
Below are some material options that can be added on to either a painting on canvas or paper.
Mixed Media Inclusions (collage, gold leaf) ~ $1 / square inch
Refinement in Oil Paint (extra-juicy finishing touches) ~ $2 / square inch
Step 2. Complete the Questionnaire
Below these instructions, you’ll find a questionnaire designed to give me an idea of your personal taste, as well as the purpose this artwork is meant fulfill. Whether your intention is to fill a particular wall-space, to celebrate an important occasion, to honor someone who’s passed into the beyond, or to manifest an unspoken dream…
You determine the PURPOSE, I’ll provide the POETRY. I will pour my devotion into designing a timeless work of art to match your Intention, based on your responses to the questionnaire and our zoom call (see below).
Step 3. Pay your 50% Deposit
In my Boutique, you will find a product listing called “Custom Artwork Initial Deposit.” Simply add this product to your Shopping Cart and complete the payment to reserve your spot on the waitlist (if there is one).
Depending on the size of your painting, a subsequent deposit may be required, to make up 50% of the total price.
Step 4. Schedule a Call
Once I have received your deposit and your questionnaire responses, I will send you an email to schedule a short video call. This is our chance to meet face-to-face, and answer any lingering questions.
Step 5. Approve the Source
After making sketching out some ideas and refining the composition, I will create a Source (digital mockup to guide the painting) for you to approve. This image will give you an idea of the color palette, arrangement of visual elements, and overall feeling. After approval, these core elements cannot be changed.
Once I begin painting, I will send you some in-process photos, so you can see how it’s coming to life. Slight adjustments can be requested at this point.
Step 6. Receive the Painting!
Once the painting is completed to your liking, I will safely ship you the painting. The cost of shipping (with tracking number and signature) is included with _____________. Any import tariffs for international orders are your responsibility to pay.
Packaged with the painting, you will receive a signed Certificate of Authenticity, a handwritten note, and an invoice for the remainder of the balance (payable upon delivery).
